Acceptance of Order
Once you have placed your order you will receive an email with acknowledgement of your order. This email is not an acceptance of your order.
Acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to confirm goods have been dispatched. The contract of the sale made in London UK and the language is English.
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without liability to you. We may not accept your order when: products on the website are not available, product is incorrectly prices, incorrectly described, is out of stock, does not satisfy quality control standards, we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment, when the quantity of an item is over the limit for one individual to receive, if shipping restrictions apply to a product or if the delivery address is a PO Box number or forwarding address.
Payment can be made by PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Delta, Electron, Eurocard and Discover. At checkout you will be directed to PayPal payment processing site and you can choose “Pay with a debit or credit card” to pay by any of the cards mentioned earlier. When the transaction is complete you will be taken back to the AlanHayden.co.uk website. All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the card issuer does not authorise payment we are not liable for non-delivery or delay.
Our site payment process is secure using card processing facility by PayPal.
Returns & Exchanges
For customers based in the EU under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order provided you give us written notice up to 7 working days from the day after you received your order. Notice of Cancellation must be given in writing to:

For orders Cancelled under the Distance Selling Regulations we will issue a full refund including the shipping cost. You will need to return the order to us at your own cost, and ensure it arrives to us is a good condition. All items must be returned unused in the original condition and from the original delivery country.

We advise to insure the returned items as you are liable for damage to them until we receive them. Please retain proof of sending. Refund will be issued within 30 days of receiving your cancellations notice. We can arrange to have your item collected by courier at your cost.
Please note that you will not be entitled to cancel or return a Personalised item, other than in accordance with your statutory rights.
You can add your name, or initials to an order if it is an available option on that item. Please check when ordering.
You hereby acknowledge Alan Hayden’s sole and exclusive right and interest in all intellectual property rights in your Personalised order and you acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights (including without limitation, design rights, copyright and other rights of a similar nature in any jurisdiction) in your Personalised Alan Hayden order belong to Alan Hayden. Any intellectual property rights in the Personalised Alan Hayden item that do not vest in Alan Hayden by operation of law, you shall assign the same to Alan Hayden with title guarantee to Alan Hayden upon their creation, or where possible assign the same to Alan Hayden with full title guarantee by way of a present assignment of future rights. Should the transfer and assignment be not valid, you hereby grant to Alan Hayden an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, fully paid-up licence to distribute, use, reproduce, copy, modify, alter, exploit and/or disclose the design of your Personalised item for any purpose whatsoever and waive and agree not to enforce any such rights which you may have or had have.
You agree you have no claim against Alan Hayden or any other party in the event that a Personalised item the same or similar to your Personalised item is created, used, designed, used or made available to the public.
Personalised Items are made from different batches of raw materials and therefore may change slightly in shade and/or finish due to the normal variations in the colour dyeing and manufacturing process.
Alan Hayden reserves the right to decline your order Personalised order at our sole discretion on the basis of the content and design of the personalised item. Alan Hayden does not have any obligation to accept or decline, comment or review any Personalised order submitted.
Receiving your Personalised item
You agree that you will be charged at the time you submit your personalised order.
Personalised products are made to your specifications and you will not be able to cancel your order or return the item other than in accordance with your statutory rights.
After submitting your order you will receive an email acknowledging your order number and details of the personalisation. This email is acceptance of your order. The acceptance terms for non personalized orders shall not apply.
The order acknowledgement email will have an estimated shipping date. Alan Hayden customer service plan to despatch your product within two weeks of the estimated shipping dates. The terms of delivery of normal non personalised items shall not apply.
Returns and Exchanges using our Free Collection Service
Instead of using your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations you can return or exchange items using our free collection service.
You must request your return or exchange within 14 days of received your order, and return your unwanted items within 14 days of receiving your returns authorisation confirmation email. You can have a refund of the value of the item only, or an exchange for the same item in a different size, based on stock availability. If you prefer to exchange your item for another product, please return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.

Shipping is at no cost on the replacement item, but exchanges made to destinations outside the EU will be subject to customs clearance and any relevant import duty and tax charges will apply. If you paid by PayPal any applicable taxes and duties on your exchange should be paid by your credit or debit card. Our free collection service if not available for orders cancelled under the Distance Selling Regulations.
Our Returns and Exchanges Policy
Items for returns or exchanges must be returned unused and with all tags attached. Returns and exchanges that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to you and/or a refund refused. Any packaging e.g. dust bags and leather tags, must be included with your return.
Bags, Wallets and Technology Cases
Should be tried on in an indoor environment. Returns must be returned unused, with all packaging, with tags, and in a saleable condition.
We quality check items before shipping. Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or when a manufacturing fault happens within six months of purchase. Items damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not faulty.
To exchange a faulty item instead of a refund, the replacement item must be of the same model, size and be in stock. We will offer to repair faulty items where possible. If the item can not be repaired or replaced, you are entitled to a full refund.
A repair service is offered for damage which occurs during normal use of the product and this service would be for no cost. Misuse or theft of the product is not covered by this service. Please email [email protected] with images and details of the damage. The original receipt is required to authorise the repair. Only products purchased from authorised retailers will be able to be repaired.
Handle Repair Policy
We want you to keep your bag for a lifetime. Due to regular wear and tear over many years of use, a handle of a bag may start to wear out. If the handle wears out we will offer to replace the handle for no charge. Due to variations in the manufacturing, dying processes and the batches of materials and fabrics used, we cannot guarantee the replacement handle will be exactly the same as the previous handle. We will do our best to match the colour. To use this service please email [email protected] and give details of your original order number.
We do our best to display accurately colours of products on the website. As computer screens vary, we can not guarantee your computer screen’s display of any colour will be perfectly accurate. Items correspond to their description; however, variations in the manufacturing processes mean that fabrics, materials, colours, and the design of products may differ in appearance in minor ways.
All content including but not limited to logos, data, text, icons, photographs, graphics, images, audio, music, sounds and software available on the website is either owned or licenced by Alan Hayden, and is protected by applicable copyright laws and treaties around the world. All rights reserved.
The Alan Hayden trademark as well as all trademarks, whether figurative or not, and all other marks, service marks, brand names, illustrations, logos, business names, images which appear on Products, website, accessories or packaging where registered or not are and remain the property of Alan Hayden and/or it’s licensor and are protected by applicable trademark laws around the world. You can use the website content only as expressly authorised by Alan Hayden. Any reproduction or redistribution of the website content is prohibited and may result in criminal and civil penalties. Copying of the website content to any other location, server, publication, distribution or reproduction is prohibited. You can make one copy for the purposes of viewing website content for your own personal use.
We do our best to make sure information on the website is accurate and complete. We do not guarantee that the content or functionality of the website is error free, or that the servers are free of viruses, malicious code or other parts which are potentially harmful. We recommend all users of the Internet have installed up to date virus checking software.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The terms and conditions and all transactions relating to the AlanHayden.co.uk are governed by English law and jurisdiction of the English courts.
Limitations on Our Liability
No part of these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury cause by our negligence or that of our employees or agents.
We will not be liable whether in contract or tort for any economic losses (e.g. loss of income, loss of profits), loss of goodwill or reputation, or special indirect losses suffered by you arising out of connection with these terms
If Alan Hayden breach the terms and conditions we shall only be liable for losses which are direct and reasonably foreseeable. We shall only be liable for losses up to 100% of the total value of the goods purchased from Alan Hayden.
We will not be held responsible for failure or delay to perform or comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions if the failure or delay is due to any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

Sale Price Match Policy
We are happy to offer to match the sale price of an item purchased up to 7 days prior to the start date of a sale. The exact style and size of an item must be available for purchase at the time your request is made before any sale price can be matched. All sale prices matched will be credited to your Alan Hayden account in the form of a store credit which will be valid for 12 months.
We can not offer sale price match on items originally purchased in a sale or on any special promotional items that are temporarily reduced in price. When an item has been purchased at a discounted sale price, no price adjustment will be offered if the item’s price is further reduced.
Alan Hayden Employees
Employees ordering products from the website who are entitled to staff discount agree they have read and adhere to the terms and conditions of the staff discount policy. Employees with questions can contact the HR department.
If any part of the Terms and Conditions is invalid, void or unenforceable, that part shall be severable from and not affect the enforceability of any of the other parts of these Terms and Conditions.
Should you breach these terms and conditions and we take no action against you, we will still be entitled to use our remedies in any other situation where you break the terms and conditions.
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999
The provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 are expressly excluded from these terms and conditions such that no third party may claim rights under these terms and conditions.
